Simplot Company is a true farm-to-table company with operations that touch every aspect of agriculture, including seed production, farming and ranching, plant sciences, fertilizer manufacturing, food processing, commercial product development, and distribution.SummaryOperate Heavy Equipment in a mining environment.Key Responsibilities Proper and safe operation of heavy equipment in a mining situation: 1800 Hitachi hydraulic shovel,D-11 dozers, 100 ton haul trucks, Cat 993 loaders, 16H motor grader, water truck, large rotary blasthole drill, and other equipment necessary to the mining operation Equipment inspection; Record keeping and reporting Housekeeping duties (work areas as assigned) Prompt and regular attendance and safe work performance required Understand and comply with all company policies, procedures, governmental regulations, SOP'sTypical Education High School Diploma or GEDRelevant Experience 3+ years of experience in the operation of heavy mining equipment MSHA certification is desirable. Basic mechanical knowledge is desirable.
