Registered Respiratory Therapist Location: Roosevelt, UT Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,038 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 8 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: Cardiopulmonary Specialty: Respiratory Therapy Duration: 8 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum Years of Experience required License: Current State Respiratory Therapist Licensure Certifications: BCLS and ACLS certification, Valid NBRC Credential in good standing Must-Have: Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Respiratory Therapy, AARC/USRC Membership preferred Description: An allied healthcare team member who works under the supervision of the Respiratory Medical Director and Department Manager. Responsible for the treatment, management, control, and diagnostic evaluation and care of patients with deficiencies and abnormalities of the cardiopulmonary system. Ability to triage safely, rapidly, and accurately every patient that enters the emergency care system. Determines priorities of care based on physical and psychosocial needs, as well as factors influencing patient flow through the system. Communicates with physicians about changes in the patient's status, symptomatology, and results of diagnostic studies. Responsible for providing Respiratory Care services following specific physician's orders and department policies. Tasks encompass patient assessments, diagnostic evaluations, therapeutic interventions, and patient, caregiver, and community education.
