If you are passionate about making a profound impact on the quality of patients' lives, please click to apply, we would love to hear from you.Medical Equipment TechnicianMedical Equipment Technicians are responsible for ensuring safe delivery, providing setup, and education in usage of home medical equipment for our customers. Setup is done in their home, long-term care setting, clinic or any location deemed necessary to service patients.Job Duties:Develop and maintain working knowledge of current HME products and services offered by the company and all applicable governmental regulationsComply with all applicable company policies and proceduresManage territory to reach service goals and deliver equipment including oxygen as required in accordance with industry standardsEducate customers in proper use and care of respiratory and HME equipment in a home settingComplete written patient visits reports following setup and follow-up visits as requiredProcess all orders in a timely, accurate mannerPromote services and products to referral sources in the community as appropriateAssist with implementation of quality improvement program to meet company policiesMaintain home oxygen systems through regularly scheduled visits to customers.Assume on-call responsibilities during non-business hours in accordance with company policySafely drive and maintain company vehiclePerform patient assessment and re-assessment for patient carePerform routine preventative maintenance and simple repairs on equipment as required in accordance with company policiesReport equipment hazards and/or product incidents as required in accordance with company policies and proceduresDevelop and maintain working knowledge of current HME products and services offered by the companyAssume on-call responsibilities during non-business hours in accordance with company policy.Retain knowledge of and consistently adhere to procedures for the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), infection control and hazardous materials handling.Maintain patient confidentiality and function within the guidelines of HIPAACompletes assigned compliance training and other educational programs as requiredOther duties as assigned.

Requirements:
