(Only QUALIFIED Healthcare Professionals accepted) Phlebotomy Technician - Full-time Laboratory Assistant needed at top facility in Utah!

Currently seeking a full-time Laboratory Assistant to be the point-person for providing blood draws to patients in a variety of settings, including inpatient units, the emergency department, and outpatients. Blood draws will include venous draws and heel sticks and will be performed on a wide variety of patients, from newborns to geriatrics and all ages in between. The Lab Assistant is also responsible for departmental inventory, including phlebotomy supplies, test tubes, and other items related to the provision of patient care in the laboratory. Other duties include providing test results to the appropriate location(s), faxing and emailing information, answering the phone, ordering tests accurately based on provider orders, and supporting the Med Techs in the lab with other preparatory actions, within the scope of training.

Mondays-Thursdays 12pm-8:30pm and Fridays 10am-6:30pm, with the possibility of working 4x10hr or 3x12hr shifts with weekends.

Minimum Qualifications:
Must be highly comfortable with needles and blood and able to put others at ease related to the same.
High level of comfort with technology and ability to successfully complete a range of clerical tasks.
Must be effective both as part of a team and while working independently.
Must possess strong critical thinking skills and able to respond quickly when situations change unexpectedly.
Excellent customer service and communication skills (oral, written, and listening).
